Experienced Carpenter
Job description
We’re looking for a reliable, skilled Carpenter with experience in both concrete forming & reinforcing and wood framing to join our team. Working on an exciting mixed-use new build in Pemberton with a fun crew that values quality work and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and install concrete forms for footings, walls, slabs, and columns
- Perform wood framing for residential, commercial, or industrial structures
- Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and plans
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision
- Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and on time
- Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to meet project goals
Requirements:
- Experience in carpentry, including concrete forming and wood framing. Red seal certification is a plus.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and layout instruments
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Reliable transportation and punctual work ethic

Job description
We’re looking for a motivated Apprentice Carpenter to join our team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in concrete forming and wood framing while working alongside skilled tradespeople on a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with concrete formwork, framing, and general carpentry tasks
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials under supervision
- Load/unload materials and maintain a clean, organized site
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow instructions from lead carpenters and site supervisors
- Adhere to all safety standards and procedures
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of previous carpentry experience
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic knowledge of tools and construction practices
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Enrolled in or willing to enroll in a carpentry apprenticeship program is an asset

- Assist carpenters and trades with general labour tasks

- Site prep and clean-up
- Operate basic hand and power tools

Requirements:
- Previous construction experience an asset, but not required
- Must have own transportation to Pemberton
- Steel toe boots required (minimum PPE)
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
